Every year, MysticLand Global Citizenship Education opens up their 5-week preview program to an exclusive
group of progressive schools in the world. Bal Bharati Public School, GRH Road, Delhi was picked to be a part of this coveted group for the year 2023.
Under the guidance of Principal, Mr. L. V. Sehgal and Headmistress Ms. Reetu Dawar, 363 Grade 3 students underwent the program in September.
The 5-week program was executed smoothly with support from Ms. Pushpinder Kaur and a team of 8 teachers.

THE MYSTICPOST NEWS PROGRAM
This activity fills the classroom with enthusiasm, eagerness and creativity! Every learner gets to know what’s happening in the world through the most engaging and story-told newspaper, The MysticPost, followed by an interactive Newsmaker Activity. The learners pour over the newspaper and then make their versions of The MysticPost. Every version is unique, stands out and talks about important news and things that have struck a chord with the young citizens.
THE COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM
Based on the UN SDG, these kids undergo a transformational Food Journal activity that imbibes in them the values of not wasting food and being responsible consumers. Driven by the slogan ‘Number of Days Gone Without Waste’, the program has seen phenomenal outcomes with youngsters becoming aware of the world hunger problem and taking a strong step towards not wasting food!
